2015-2016 Elective Opportunity:

Think electives for 2015-2016!
GO PUBLIC
Grades 9-12
Do you want to be a good blogger?  Are you tired of shabby Facebook entries and confusing, misleading texts and e-mails?  Need to get your point across loud and clear through social media?  Do you have poems ready to go public?  Or short stories?  Or do you dream of being a journalist?  This lively, hands-on elective will cover them all.  In the process, you’ll learn how to write  well, effectively and efficiently.  Course requirements include one submission per week to the class blog, to your own blog, or to the occasional publication that the class will launch.  We’ll work on growing vocabulary and tweaking grammar organically—through your writing.

The team scored 80 points in the two games, led by Arin on Friday and Sierra in the final on Saturday. Many thanks to Maris, Sierra and Maddy who stepped in to help us when we were short-handed.
