Radon Update:
Following the board meeting where radon levels were discussed, two things have happened:1) The school's drinking water has been tested for radon and uranium and "both are under the limits for drinking water in Vermont." (Ian Schrauf, H2O Guy Environmental Services)
2) The radon mitigation work has been completed, levels have dropped though two areas are still below recommended levels (Library and Weight Room). The mitigation company is researching larger exhaust fans to improve suction. Dutton work is scheduled for June.

Also, as chair of Green Up for the Town of Newfane, I've received inquiries from residents who have asked for help on trash clean up on their roads, even after Green Up weekend. There are a couple of spots in town that could use a young pair of knees and strong pair of arms!

WRVT needs a student to do some data entry work. This will involve entering survey responses from Community Hope & Action concerts into our survey monkey account. Students who haven't used survey monkey need not worry, it only take a few minutes to learn how to use the site.
