School Calendar:

Please make sure to check out the Leland & Gray school calendar.  It differs from the District calendar because of professional development days for our faculty.   The full calendar can be found here.

Moving On Up Day:

On Wednesday, June 5th Leland & Gray will be hosting Moving On Up Day for all incoming 6th, 7th and 9th graders.  Current 8th graders will be shadowing current 9th and 10th graders (arranged by the counseling department) and incoming 6th and 7th graders will spend the day along with current 7th graders doing various activities within the Middle School.  If you have questions, please reach out to Phoebe Connolly, Sarah Grasso or Dr. Harrigan.

Parent Information Night:

On Wednesday, June 5th from 6:30-7:30pm in the Main Gym there will be a parent information night for all rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders.  This will also be when students and their families have an opportunity to sign up for their Exploratory classes.  We look forward to seeing you all there!

School Store:

As you are cleaning out your closets, putting your winter clothing away, and getting your spring and summer wardrobes out, sorting through what to keep and what to get rid of, please consider bringing unwanted clothing items to L&G. The clothing will be put in the school store and given to needy students and their families. Contact Susan Jones with questions: sjones@lelandandgray.org

Winter Coats:

We know that warmer weather doesn't make one think of winter coats, but L&G has been given a bunch of various sizes, and if you'd like one for next year, please contact our school nurse, Lauren Shockley at 221-2126.

Snow Day Routine Change:

 This year we have changed our routine with regards to snow days and our day rotations (green/white and A/B/C)The change - reflected in the attached calendars (click here) is that when we have a snow day, we will SKIP the intended day and NOT PUSH it. In other words, the days are hard-scheduled for the year in advance.

The late bus schedule can be found here.  Please note the bus will only run south this year.

Open Gym:

Any girls grades 7-12  interested in Basketball Open Gym?

This will start on Monday 5/20/19 right after school on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Job Opportunity for a Student:

Timber Creek is a Townhouse village near Mount Snow.  They are looking to hire a student for the following position: 


It would include:  answering the phone, checking the pool, monitoring the facility, checking in members, owners or guests for facility use, paging maintenance if needed, opening/closing the facility for the day. 

Friday evening shift (3p- 8p) and Sunday am 7:45a-1:30

Do you like to run/walk and have fun? Do you want to get a one-of-a-kind t-shirt while doing it? (While you are running, colored powder is thrown on you and it dyes your t-shirt).
