BASKETBALL TIME CHANGE FOR WEEKDAY LEAGUE GAMES

The Marble Valley League has changed the times of league double headers during the week from 6pm and 7:30pm to 5:30pm and 7pm. This change has been made for both Boys and Girls. Please be aware of the time changes that affect our games at Leland and Gray. If you have any questions, please contact me via email at mtesto@lelandandgray.org.

The drawing for the Journey East 50/50 raffle will be held during High School lunch on Monday, December 9.

Deposit non-perishables in the box in the Activity Room that's designated for your class. Watch for weekly tallies --and where you stand with Spirit Points!

AN ATTENDANCE REMINDER FOR 2^ND QUARTER

Students who are passing their classes and accumulate 5 unexcused absences in a quarter will receive a passing grade of a 60. The 60 will be written as an "S" on the report card. For an absence to be excused, students/parents must submit official documentation from a health care provider, court clerk, motor vehicle clerk, or other representative where an appointment or meeting was held.

Come to the Winter Concert and Art Show!

Thursday, December 19th in the L&G gym. The art show starts at 6:30 and the concert starts at 7:00. The concert will include the middle and high school bands and choruses as well as A Cappella, the Samba Band and the L&G Jazz Band. A good time will be had by all!

Sharon and Ms. Marchant are offering FREE holiday gift making workshops this week. Stop by the library on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons to make jewelry, key chains, ornaments, and more. It's free one-stop shopping for the holidays!

Look for HEY! Help Mon.-Fri. mornings (7:15-7:45) and Mon.-Thurs. afternoons (2:45- 4:15).  On Monday, Linda Rood is back to continue the Common App Workshop with seniors, 'Ukulele will meet in Mr. Whitman's room, and Yoga will meet with Cheryl Cullen in Ms. Hinds' room. On Tuesday, Newspaper, Weight Training, the Tuesday D&D group, and RAMP continue. Wednesday, LGTV, Iron Chef, and the Wednesday D&D group will meet. On Thursday, CLEA will meet in B-2, and Financial Fitness will meet in B-11. 

We are looking for more chefs to join the Iron Chef team and go to Burlington to compete with other schools. See Ms. Jones if you are interested.
