Friday Notes 3/17/23

SCHOOL INFO

March 17, 2023

Dear L&G Families:

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Rebel Nation!  I hope this letter finds you with electricity, heat and internet!!!  I know it’s been a trying week for many of you as you faced all of the challenges of the storm.

With spring just around the corner, we are reminded that this is often our “busy” season; field trips, spring sports, prom, graduation, and of course state assessments.  We will have more details on all of these events in the coming weeks.  Parent conferences are coming up in two weeks and you should receive appointment information next week about the Friday “ZOOM” option for conferences from teachers.  Thursday will be “in person” conferences from 2-7pm in the main gym, much like the fall - no appointments are necessary!

One final update - with the two snow days this week, our current total stands at four.  This means that the last day of school for students will now be Friday, June 16th, and will be a Summative Make Up day.  Graduation will still happen on June 10th, and seniors’ final days will be spelled out fairly soon.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Bob Thibault

Principal
