Rocktoberfest 

Rocktoberfest is on rain or shine! It will be moved to the gym if it rains. As a reminder this event is for Leland & Gray students only, guests are not permitted. Admission is $5, and the Cornhole Tournament is free. Booster Club will be selling concessions.

RTU MAKE UP KICK OFF EVENT

If you missed the RTU Kick Off event at L&G on Sept 17 and at Riley Rink in Manchester on Sept 21, Please be sure to go to the make up event on October 18th (5:30 PM) at Jamaica Town Hall.

Pumpkin Festival - October 14th at the Townshend Common! 

10:30 AM Scarecrow Decorating Contest- (Clothing will be donated by twice blessed.)

11:45 AM Pumpkin Decorating Contest-(Pumpkins are provided)

12 PM-4 PM Pony Rides

1:45 PM Costume Parade


Bounce House will be happening all day!



Lincoln Tech Open House 

 Lincoln Tech is having an Open House on Saturday October 7 from 10-1 at our East Windsor CT campus.  They can call 800-243-4242, scan the QR code or they can reach out to Steve Parello to register. 



What is Title I?

Windham Central Supervisory Union (WCSU) receives federal funding to support schools throughout our SU, including Windham School. Title I funds are used to promote improved instruction for all students in our schools.  For example, funding is used to provide professional development to all teachers, behavioral support for students, to provide academics and intervention programs, and for community and family engagement.

  • Monday, October 9th - No School - Indigenous Peoples’ Day - NO SCHOOL

  • Thursday, October 12th - Progress Reports 

  • Thursday, October 12th, 2-7pm - Parent/Teacher Conferences 

  • Friday, October 13th - Parent Conferences (Virtual) - 2-3 pm

  • Saturday, October 14th - Pumpkin Festival,10:00 am - 4:00 pm

  • Sunday, October 15th - Cornhole Tournament - 12 pm

  • Friday, October 20th - Picture Day

  • Friday, October 20th - Music Night, 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Community Service Opportunity

The Townshend Food Shelf is looking for student volunteers to help on the second Thursday of each month at 10:30am to help unload and stock shelves.  The next shipment date is Thursday, 10/12.  Please see Terry in Room B8 if you're interested.
