Friday Notes 5/7/21

SCHOOL INFO:

May 7, 2021

As we come to the end of Teacher Appreciation Week, I want to express my thanks to the entire staff at L&G for the hard work, creativity, and grace with which they have handled the last 14 months of education.  It’s been hard on the kids (and all of us really!) but the entire staff has worked hard to ensure that the process has been smooth.  Please join me in thanking your child’s teachers and other school staff (I’m sure emails would be appreciated!!!)

March Student of the Month:

Middle School:

Jack Spengler-  His attendance remote and in person has been excellent.  He is hard working and has made a lot of progress this year in spite of all the hardships.  I think that is getting well prepared to start high school off on the right foot.

High School:

Parker Richardson-  Parker Richardson, 2 nominations: Parker asks for and accepts help when needed, he balances his social and work time, and he completes all of his assignments on time, including his remote work. He is pleasant to work with, and he is kind to others. AND  Parker has been a rock star in the classroom, whether during his in-person or remote learning days.  He is very conscientious and his work is done on time with care and accuracy.  I appreciate his ability to stay on top of what is being asked of him by his teachers, especially on the three remote learning days.
